Ceremony and reception locations

One great thing to love about Armature Works is that you have options when it comes to where you have your ceremony and reception. The main locations you can rent for your special day are The Gathering, The Loft, The Courtyard, Social Room, Social Hall, The Theatre, or my personal favorite for smaller weddings The Loft. Each space has a distinct look and feel; each with its own benefits.

What is the maximum capacity for a wedding at Armature Works?

The maximum capacity for a single wedding at Armature Works is 1200 Guests.

The gathering

of-the-art lighting, audio video setups, and two 9ft x 16ft LED video walls. The space is HUGE, it’s 10,000 sq ft with the capacity for up to 650 guests! This goes without saying, but it’s the largest available space in Armature Works. Two adjoining pre-function spaces are also available with an additional 4800 sq ft of indoor or outdoor space ideal for cocktail hour, receptions, and ceremonies.

Courtyard

The courtyard is a unique space in the heart of Armature works. It’s a square-shaped open-air space with plenty of room for every guest on their wedding day.

Social room

The Social Room can serve as the Gatherings cocktail hour or a space for your ceremony. This newly renovated modern room has a warmer feel as the exposed brick, chic lighting, and wainscoting permitters the room.

Social Hall

The Social Hall is filled with historical charm and perfect for wedding ceremonies, smaller dinners, and cocktail receptions. For larger events, the Social Hall can be combined with the Social Room.

The Theatre

In the past, the Theatre was a bar and stage-equipped performance space used by the Tampa Electric Company (TECO) for street car workers to relax after a long day of work. The Theatre showcases elements from its unique heritage including wood truss loft ceilings, exposed beams, original flooring, and new modern materials like shiplap wall accents and wrought iron lighting fixtures. The space overlooks the Hillsborough River and Downtown Tampa, with more than 2,500 square feet, and can host events up to 200 guests.

Rooftop 220

Rooftop 220 provides an incredible view into the Heights neighborhood as an indoor/outdoor venue adjacent to Armature Works. The rooftop deck offers unbeatable views of the Hillsborough River, and Downtown Tampa in addition to Armature Works and the Heights development. Full-service catering is available through Armature Works. Rooftop 220 can accommodate 50 guests seated and 150 guests for cocktail style.

The West Lawn

The West Lawn is ideal for outdoor celebrations with incredible sunset views of Downtown Tampa. I would highly recommend using this space for a truly unique outdoor wedding & reception.

Armature Works is a lot more than just a wedding venue, they have many in-house options available for your wedding day.

catering

Events with over 300 guests must use Puff N Stuff for their catering needs.

For events with less than 300 guests, you may use Puff N Stuff, Good Food Tampa, or Salt Block Catering.

Beverages

All beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) are to be arranged by Armature Works. You cannot bring any outside beverages.

Armature Works has state-of-the-art lighting available but must be set up via pre-selected vendors.

Cost of a wedding at Armature Works

Of course, one of the topics of concern for many couples getting married is the cost, especially if they are paying for the wedding themselves. The exact cost of your wedding will depend on your preferences, but according to Wedding Wire, the starting cost of a ceremony is about $2000 during peak season and $1200 during off-peak season. The average cost of a wedding with 100 guests is between $18000-$24000.

Most couples should book their wedding at Armature Works between 6 and 18 months in advance.
